Day centre
It operates continuously since 1998, having a daily program, starting from Monday until Friday between 8 a.m. 6 p.m. The initial financing was ensured by CONCORDIA. The Centre offers: social and medical services to children coming from under-privileged environments, having ages between 6 18 years (2 hot meals per day and a snack, homework support, psychological assessment and counseling, educational activities, material and financial support granted to families, spiritual assistance given by the priest of the centre, medical care vitamins, treatments, preventive medicine, sanitary and sexual education). The Centre is not only a place of some quantifiable social services, but above all a place of social relationships, of various encounters, a place where you are listened to, where you can express your feelings, happiness, anxieties, pain, fear, crying, a place of shared values, where the human dimension gains meaning.
Emergency shelter, a community solution for street arabs
Project financed by the National Authority for the Protection of Childrens Rights (ANPDC) by the means of which street arabs were temporarily sheltered by families in the community and then reintegrated in their natural families.

The First Step project for the prevention of new-born abandonment in the Caritas Maternity Hospital, funded by the BRIDGE Association in Switzerland and carried on in partnership with DGASC-3rd district. The partnership with the directorate for child protection is still continuing through the provision of some social services by the foundation to mothers at risk of abandonment.
